Our Story
After falling in love with the underwater world in the Red Sea, Course Director Bilal Sidawi became a certified NAUI Instructor and First Aid Instructor in 2014. His passion for diving grew even stronger as he dedicated himself to exploring the depths and sharing his knowledge with others.
Ghaleb, another sea lover deeply captivated by underwater life, met Bilal and began his own diving journey. Through intensive courses and continuous mentorship, Ghaleb became a certified Recreation and Technical diving Instructor late 2019.
United by their shared passion for the ocean and backed by countless dives, Bilal and Ghaleb decided to establish their own scuba diving facility, naming it Scuba Squad. The name “Squad” reflects the collective support and teamwork they received from fellow leaders and divers in the community.
Today, Scuba Squad has grown into a thriving dive center with a mission to support and expand the scuba diving community in northern Lebanon. With a team of experienced instructors, including Open Water Instructors, First Aid Trainers, Technical Instructors, and even a Course Director, the center stands as a beacon for underwater adventure in the heart of Lebanon.
